Wayward son Luke Skywalker disappoints father by running off with space-hippie Ben Kenobi to become terrorist alongside patronising sex-pest and petty criminal Han Solo. Luke celebrates early terrorist successes by getting off with sister. Gay robots do gay robot stuff.

Trivia
Although famously set in a ‘galaxy far, far away’, Star Wars was actually filmed on Mars, which is in our own galaxy!
The bond between C3P0 and R2D2 onscreen was reflected in real-life where the two robots have had a life-long love affair and to this day live together in their sprawling Montana ranch.
The Star Wars line of toys were hugely successful, but other, less-successful Star Wars merchandise includes Star Wars Industrial Slurry, Star Wars Pre-prepared Pastry, and a sex-doll based on Admiral Ackbar that shouts ‘It’s a trap’ during certain erotic acts.
In the original script, Luke Skywalker was called ‘Rampage Destiny’, Han Solo ‘Spanky Lovepump’ and Princess Leia ‘Mrs Beryl Lumsdon’
Bloopers
Despite being set ‘a long, long, time ago,’ the film is populated with all manner of robots, spaceships and lasers, which are actually more futuristic than anything.
In the cantina scene, former Chancellor of the Exchequer Dennis Healy can be seen by the bar adjusting his helmet.
Quotes
“Open the pod bay doors, Hal.”
