One of the true legends of British acting, although he was never in a Carry On film so how good can he be really. He played 84 people in Kind Hearts and Coronets, a 1940s comedy that isn’t funny. Perhaps best known for his Oscar-winning turn in The Bridge Over the River Kwai, what is less well known is that he actually scored a chart hit with the spin-off single Boogie Wonderland.
