Upcoming Martin Scorsese Film Will Feature Nine New, Previously Unheard Swear Words

Killers of the Flower Moon, the new film from Martin Scorsese will feature nine swear words that have been developed exclusively for the film.

It is thought that popular swear words such as f**k, s**t, and tr**p were simply not extreme enough for a Martin Scorsese gangster film that features both Robert DeNiro and Leonardo DiCaprio.

Consequently, a swearing expert was brought in to bolster the bad language.

“Bunfuffkin is, I think, the one I’m most proud of,” said Stewart James, Professor of really bad swear words at Oxford University.

“Versatility is always key with swearing, and Bunfuffkin can work as both a noun and adjective, which is always useful.”

Professor James explained how he came to work on the picture.

“Well, yes. I received a call from Martin Scorsese, which is obviously tremendously exciting, like most people, I’m a big fan of Kundun.

“He was having a problem with a particular three-minute exchange between Robert DeNiro and Jesse Plemons in which there were 396 swear words.

“The limited number of expletives available in English meant that the dialogue quickly became quite repetitive. New swear words were required and so I was asked to come up with some new ones.

The words in question were bunfuffkin, spant (and spanter), cruff, big fenny, wecking, bennk, shissdip, riss, and, perhaps the most offensive of all, pund.

“It was a wonderful job, and watching an actor of Leo’s calibre say the line – ‘This is bunfuffkin, that big fenny is a cruff-spanter and if he doesn’t get his wecking shissdip out of his riss then he’s finished. The pund’ – was possibly the highlight of my academic career.”

Killers of the Flower Moon will be released later this year, and you’d have to have bennk for brains to not be looking forward to it.
