Tom Hardy has dramatically quit the inspiring quote business in order to focus on his film work.
His final inspiring quote was ‘Life is what happens when you’re busy making other plans’ which many people thought was actually said by John Lennon but, as it recently appeared written across a picture of Tom Hardy, it must have been said by Tom Hardy.
“It’s been nice saying lots and lots of inspirational things,” said the Mad Max star, “but acting is my dream and as I, not anyone else, once said – ‘you’ve got to follow your dreams.’”
Tom began saying inspirational things about two years ago when he said ‘Be yourself, everyone else is already taken.’ The quote was printed on a picture of Tom Hardy and shared across the internet.
After that early success, he began saying inspirational things regularly to inspire people who enjoyed seeing inspirational quotes written across a picture of Tom Hardy.
“I love Tom Hardy quotes,” explained Barack Obama, former president.
“My favourite Tom Hardy quote is ‘We did not come to fear the future, we came here to shape it.’ That really encapsulated my thinking. In fact, I liked it so much, I used it in one of my speeches. I don’t know what I’ll do without Tom Hardy quotes.
However, people who rely on Tom Hardy quotes can take heart from the fact that he hasn’t ruled out making a return to saying inspirational quotes.
“No, I’m going back into acting for now, but beyond that, who knows!” laughed Tom.
“After all, as I always say – ‘Life is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you’re going to get.’”

Internet fury as new Ghostbusters trailers appears to feature a girl
The internet has reacted with fury to the release of a trailer for the new Ghostbusters film and the revelation that it appears to feature a girl.
Several years ago, a Ghostbusters reboot appeared featuring four women playing the Ghostbusters and nearly brought about the end of civilisation as we know it.
It had been hoped that producers had learnt their lesson this time.
“Frankly, this is the greatest insult of all,” tweeted 49-year-old Stewart James, who you’d have thought would have better things to do.
“It’s like, they broke my childhood into little pieces three years ago and now they’ve come back to destroy those little pieces.
“Ghostbusters are not girls! So, the girl who’s in it could be a girlfriend or someone the ghostbusters rescue or someone in a crowd cheering the ghostbusters on, but definitely not a ghostbuster.
“It’s almost like they don’t care about what pasty, overweight middle-aged men think.”
There are reports of men across the world locking themselves in their rooms and refusing to come down for tea and others throwing away their immaculately packaged vintage Ghostbuster action figures in protest.
Mr James offered a solution to the problem.
“I stand ready to play a Ghostbuster instead of the girl,” he offered.
“I’ve seen the original loads, so I’m perfect for it, even if I’m thirty-odd years older than the other ghostbusters in the film.
“It would be a bit weird, but not as weird as having a girl as a ghostbuster.”
Mr James is still waiting for producers to respond to his offer.
