It has been announced that Interview with a Vampire, a major new TV series, is going ahead at AMC. But what is it, exactly?
The most likely answer is that it is a spin-off to BBC’s hugely popular Line of Duty series.
“If there is one thing that Line of Duty is known for, it’s for super-tense interview scenes,” said TV expert Kelly Grace.
“In fact, the only thing that could make those scenes anymore tense would be if they were interviewing an actual vampire.
“You’d have the vampire getting increasingly worried about the sunlight coming in and Kate’s garlic bread breath, and then you’d have Steve going ‘On page 24 of your pack, you’ll find a picture of a bat at the crime scene.’
“After a while, the AC-12 team would begin to suspect that they’re trapped in a room with an ancient creature of unimaginable power and that this wasn’t just a normal interview, it was actually…an interview with a vampire.”
The new spin-off could take the ongoing conspiracy in Line of Duty in a new direction.
“Yeah, because it always seemed like the revelation of who ‘H’ is seemed a bit tossed away to me,” continued Ms Grace.
“So maybe it’s just going to give way to an even larger conspiracy in which all the high-ranking officers at Central all answer to an ancient and evil cabal of vampires, and those vampires then answer to demons, and the demons all live in Hell, and what letter does Hell begin with?
“’H’”
It seems most likely that the full name of the show will be Line of Duty: Interview with a Vampire, and it will begin filming later this year.

New Star Wars spin-off ‘Bloke standing behind Luke in Mos Eisley Cantina: A Star Wars Story’ put on hold
Following the disappointing box-office performance of Solo: A Star Wars Story, it has been announced that the highly anticipated spin-off Bloke standing behind Luke in Mos Eisley Cantina: A Star Wars Story has been temporarily shelved.
The news will come as a disappointment to fans of the series, many of whom consider the bloke standing behind Luke in Mos Eisley Cantina to be a favourite of the more minor characters.
“Oh, that’s a shame,” said Darth Alec Kenobi, a 49-year-old financial advisor and Star Wars fan from Essex.
“I was really excited to find out more about the bloke standing behind Luke in Mos Eisley Cantina. I mean, he just stands there for a bit and then walks off. He’s well wicked.”
Mr Kenobi went on to explain his theory about the bloke behind Luke in Mos Eisley Cantina.
“Right, so, my theory is he’s a Jedi who’s lost his memory after the surviving Order 66 when all the clones killed the Jedis, except he’s been mind-invaded from the future by Kylo Ren who is projecting his Force-essence to the past to spy on Luke so he can plan for the future battle with Rey.
“If you think about it, it completely makes sense as well because at the end of The Last Jedi, you see Luke disappear, and I think that’s him going back to the Mos Eisley Cantina to stop the bloke standing from behind Luke whose been mind-invaded by Kylo Ren from spying on past-Luke.
“It’s like Back to the Future II, but in space.”
Sadly, Mr Kenobi must wait a little longer to find out if his theory is correct or not.
Aside from Bloke standing behind Luke in Mos Eisley Cantina: A Star Wars Story, other A Star Wars Story other films including Some Space Fish: A Star Wars Story, Sexy Bikini Leia: A Star Wars Story, and Sale at the Outlet Store on Death Star: A Star Wars Story have all been put on hold.
