Ben Hur – After visiting the village of the lepers, Ben Hur can be seen googling ‘Sexy Roman Milfs’ on his laptop, despite laptops not having been invented in Roman times.
The Godfather – After returning from the washroom with the gun, Michael is briefly seen walking through some sort of lost valley of the dinosaurs. However, when he shoots McCluskey and Sollozzo, he is back in the restaurant again.
12 Angry Men – There are actually 13 men, but because there are no shots of the entire cast in the whole film, no one noticed until 1983.
Forrest Gump – During the scene where JFK meets Forrest, the president can clearly be heard muttering ‘Jesus, what a f**king retard.’ Language, Mr President!
Singin’ in the Rain – Before the ‘Make ‘Em Laugh’ routine, Cosmo is briefly seen with his costume soaked in blood. This is a leftover scene from an abandoned plotline that had Cosmo as a brutal serial killer.
Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring – The New York skyline can be seen behind the crowd during the Bilbo Baggins party scene and at one point you can hear a man shout ‘Hey, you wanna move your f**kin’ ass here. I got places to be.’
It’s a Wonderful Life – In the scene where James Stewart’s George Bailey berates his Uncle Billy, he is hovering 6 inches above the ground. There has never been any official explanation for this, so it is assumed that Stewart was a wizard.
Interstellar – On the supposedly deserted ‘Edmunds’ planet, a branch of Walmart can be seen in the background as the crew lands.
The Green Mile – During the harrowing execution of Eduard Delacroix, six clowns can be seen amongst the witnesses. They were meant to be digitally removed before the final release, but director Frank Darabont decided to skip work that day and go for ice-cream, and so they remained.
Rear Window – At the beginning of the film, James Stewart’s LB Jeffries has the cast on his left leg. Midway through it moves to his right leg, then it appears on his arm, then finally he has a full body cast for several minutes during the climax.
Heat – There were eight seconds during the shootout scene when a technical failure meant none of the guns made any noise, and so the actors were forced to shout ‘bang’ and make their own machine gun noises when firing their weapons.
Jurassic Park – In the final scene, a velociraptor is driving one of the jeeps in which the survivors make their escape.
Inception – Joseph Gordon-Levitt is never seen after the dream heist because, during filming, he was accidentally left in the dream world. As no one could remember whose subconscious he was left in, the crew were unable to retrieve him and, to this day, he remains in a hellish limbo dimension between waking and sleep.
Seven Samurai – Despite the film being a classic of Japanese cinema, the cast are actually speaking French throughout the entire film.
The Passion of Joan of Arc – During one of the famed close-ups on Renee Jeanne Falconetti’s face, she briefly looks surprised and can be seen mouthing ‘Ow. F**k. Jesus. Ow.’ This was because the fire beneath her had got briefly out of control and was licking at her left foot.
On the Waterfront – As Terry is viciously beaten at the end of the film, Godzilla can be seen walking ashore in the background. This was to lead to a crossover sequel that was ultimately abandoned.
The Lion King – In an early scene with the young Simba and Nala, the communist slogan ‘seize the means of production’ can be scene on the wall of a cave along with the old Soviet Union’s hammer and sickle flag.
Avengers: Endgame – In the climatic scene in which all the heroes arrive to battle Thanos, Iron Man has his cock and balls out.
