Last of the Mohicans Paramount Network 21.00
So committed to the role was Daniel Day-Lewis that he actually travelled back in time to learn how to fire a musket.
It worked too, as many people who lived through the French and Indian war of the 1750s rate this movie as the most realistic depiction of the conflict ever made.
Sherlock Holmes ITV2 21.10
Oi oi you muppets, do one or what, cor blimey, apples and pears round the old bow bells. Proper cockney and no mistake guv’nor Guy Ritchie decides that the interesting new angle for Sherlock Holmes is to make him really, really annoying.
Dirty Dancing Channel 5 22.00
Someone puts Baby in the corner. Doesn’t go well for them.
