Top movie star and all round nice man Tom Hanks has definitely declared that he absolutely bloody loves plucky funny movie news site Screen Idle.
The star announced his love for Screen Idle directly and exclusively to Screen Idle.
“Variety, Empire and Sight and Sound are all a right load of old rubbish,” said the Joe Versus the Volcano star.
“If I want an entertaining read about movies then it’s Screen Idle for me all the way.”
“And the man who runs the site? He’s a brilliant bloke as well and I’ll probably go round to his house for some tea with him and his mum when I’m next in England or ‘Britain’ as we call it in America.”
Interestingly Tom also revealed that many of his celebrity friends are big fans as well.
“Oh yeah, massive. Whenever I’m at a swanky Hollywood party with glamorous stars like George Clooney, Jennifer Lawrence or one of any number of different men called Ryan, the latest story from Screen Idle is all anyone wants to talk about.”
“So, I’d advise anyone who likes films to make Screen Idle their first visit every day.”
Thanks Tom, we’re big fans of your films too. Except for Cloud Atlas. That was just confusing.
