As the release date for Thor: Love and Thunder grows ever closer, more details have leaked from the production, including the tantalising news that Gorr the God Butcher has some really nice sausages in this week.
“Pork and sage they are,” said an insider.
“Very nice, it’s actually quite an unusual combination, you don’t see it a lot, but I suppose that’s what you get for having a God Butcher rather than just a normal human butcher.
“It’s all about contacts, isn’t it? A normal butcher might know all the farms in the area, and be able to get a really good supply of black pudding from old Farmer Geoff up the road. But, Gorr, as a God Butcher, well, his contacts must be absolutely off the scale. He must know all the farms in creation, so he’s bound to be able to get really good quality sausages.”
The sausage revelation follows on from last week when it was reported that Gorr the God Butcher’s Scotch Eggs were really good, but you had to get there early as he sold out ever so quickly.
It is currently unknown exactly what role Gorr takes in the final film but it does seem unlikely that his skills as a butcher will be left to go to waste, so perhaps Thor will visit the God Butcher every Saturday morning to get a nice joint for his Sunday roast or some bacon for a lovely weekend fry-up.
