Following the conclusion of the Jurassic World trilogy, a new Jurassic Park reboot is planned that will be based around a group of dinosaur scientists 10 million years in the future who invent a method to clone humans who are, by then, long extinct.
“It was the only logical way to go,” explained producer Kelly Grace.
“I mean, we’ve done humans cloning dinosaurs. We’ve done that a lot. So, what does that leave – humans cloning humans? Well, that was done in The Island, and you can’t improve on perfection.
“Dinosaurs cloning dinosaurs? Why? They could just make sweet dinosaur-love instead.”
The producers settled on a far-future story of dinosaurs cloning long-extinct humans to create a theme park of humans.
“Twists everything,” continued Ms Grace.
“You get dinosaurs coming to see real-live humans in their natural habitat doing human things like watching TV, going to the shops, and Twitter-abusing celebrities.”
However, things soon spin out of control.
“That’s right, you can’t just recreate a long-extinct species like humans without consequence. In this case, the humans in the park start to develop a hyper-consumerist society, and the constant demand for new products leads to an incredibly tense community. One day, the humans launch a new mobile phone, but don’t have the materials to create enough to meet demand – rioting and violence erupts in the theme-park and the dinosaurs have to escape.”
The Jurassic Park reboot – Human Park is still several years away, with time needed for the development of new special effects technology that will allow filmmakers to render the cloned humans on screen with the same fidelity and realism as the dinosaurs in the original Jurassic Park/World films.
