New Sixth Sense director’s cut to reveal Cole is a vampire and his mum a zombie

Terrifying 90s classic The Sixth Sense is to become even scarier with the release of a new director’s cut that will reveal that young Cole is actually a vampire and his mum is a zombie.

“I was always proud of the original, but felt that it pulled it’s punches,” said director M. Night Shyamalan.

“Yes, having all those ghosts everywhere is scary. But what about vampires? They’re really scary, what with sucking your blood and turning into bats, and zombies? Brrrr – chilling, because they’re dead, but they’re also alive.

“So, obviously, if you’ve got ghosts, and then you add zombies and vampires then that’s going to make it three times as scary. I mean, that’s just basic math right there.”

Shyamalan went on to explain how the new director’s cut will work.

“We’ve filmed a new ending. So, you get the big revelation at the end that Bruce Willis is a ghost, and it ends, right?

“Well, now there’s a scene after that where he goes back and sees Cole and he’s like – ‘oh man, I’m a ghost’ – and Cole is like – ‘yeah, totally. That sucks. But check this out, I’m a vampire’ – and Cole just turns round and he’s got these fangs and a cloak and he turns into a bat and flies out into the street and sucks someone’s blood and then he’s mum comes in and goes – ‘that’s nothing. I’m actually a zombie from the grave’ and she’s got all rotting flesh and everything.

“Then Bruce Willis goes – ‘Hey, we should all team up and call ourselves The Scary Superfriends and solve spooky crimes’ – then the music kicks in and credits roll.

Shyamalan refused to confirm whether or not the ending was setting up a potential franchise or not.

The new director’s cut will be released imminently on blu-ray and DVD and will come with another alternative ending that reveals that Bruce Willis is actually alive and that everyone else in the film, the cast and crew, and everyone watching it are actually ghosts.
