Season 2 of Legion to take place in subconscious of confused man watching season 1 of Legion

It has emerged that season 2 of the psychic psychodrama Legion will take place entirely in the subconscious of a confused man watching season 1 of Legion.

The first episode will begin with the confused man watching the final episode of Legion’s first season and asking his wife to explain what’s going on with the girl who was David’s friend.

At this moment David and the gang will leap into the man’s subconscious accompanied by him from Flight of the Conchords singing a medley of Gram Parsons’ songs for some reason.

“We were really proud of how baffling season 1 of Legion really was,” said creator Noah Hawley.

“Although, I always had this nagging feeling that I could have made it a little bit more baffling if I’d really worked at it.”

Mr Hawley was determined not to make the same mistake on season 2.

“No way, if you like your sci-fi impenetrably baffling then season 2 is for you.

“We start off in the subconscious of a confused man, then we suck the confused man into his own subconscious and then into David’s subconscious leading David to end up watching season 1 of Legion from inside the confused man’s subconscious whilst the confused man has to return to his own subconscious in time to catch the first episode of season 2.

“The confused man is played by an iguana called Meryl.”

Legion Season 2 is coming later this year and Google is currently preoptimising its search engine to cope with the vast number of searches on the phrase ‘what the hell is going on in Legion.’
