Rogue one prequel series to focus on Cassian Andor in High School

Rogue one prequel

Disney have announced that a new Rogue One prequel series will focus on Cassian Andor and his adventures at High School.

The show will be a prequel to Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, itself a prequel to Star Wars IV: A New Hope, and continues a longstanding tradition of Star Wars telling stories to which everyone knows the ending.

“We’re going for a sort of John Hughes in space vibe here,” said producer Carrie Harrison.

“You know, Cassian is this kid who doesn’t quite fit in with the cool clique and just spends time writing poetry and listening to the Psychedelic Furs.

“Well, you know, a space version of Psychedelic Furs.”

The show will feature various storylines in which Cassian falls in love with a football player’s girlfriend, defies a particularly draconian uniform rule, and makes plans to go to prom.

“I understand that it’s unexpected,” continued Ms Harrison.

“But the key thing is that we only tell stories that happened before stories that we’ve already told.”

Following the Rogue One prequel series announcement, Disney will announce a further series of prequels about Luke Skywalker’s mum as a teenager trying to get a paper round, Ben Kenobi at Kindergarten and Han Solo as some sperm trying to fertilise an egg.
