Review – Kingsman: The Golden Circle

Cinemas are awesome. You go in there and they totally show you films, but then they also have this food as well. So, I’m sitting there with a hotdog and then the film starts.

Except it doesn’t. Some adverts start. They’re about cars and are totally interesting. I agree with one of the adverts that maybe I do deserve freedom to break free from my life. But I checked and the car they were advertising was £13,000, and I work in HMV. Only part-time, so most of my money goes on rent and paying to see the movies I review for Screen-Idle.

I asked if Screen-Idle would pay the films I review but the guy got really angry and said stuff about him giving my writing exposure and that. Which I guess is good, but does six people really count as exposure?

So, I feel a bit sad as I’m £12,964 short of being able to buy the car and get the freedom to totally break free from my life, then I realised that I’d eaten my hotdog. They’re only on the adverts for mobile phones, which means that I’ve got at least 20 minutes before the trailers for superhero films start then another half an hour before the film starts.

I don’t need to watch the mobile phone adverts as my Nan got me one for my birthday and it didn’t open up a whole new dimension of possibilities like the advert said. You can totally play Candy Crush on it though. I love my Nan.

So, I go out to get another hotdog, for the film, but when I try and get back in, I’ve totally lost my ticket so the guy won’t let me back in.

I sit on the steps outside and eat my hotdog. Then hang out for two hours playing hacky-sack. A load of people come out of the cinema and I ask this dude what he thought of them film and he said it was alright.

Screen-Idle star rating

***

Some dude said it was alright.
