Review – A Wrinkle in Time

Wrinkle in Time

Yeah, so I’m freaked man, like, totally.

I mean, okay, so I go and see a film about a wrinkle that’s in time and I end up having my own wrinkle that’s totally in my time, man.

So, I come out of the cinema and the film messed with my head because it had that Oprah lady who doesn’t want to be President doing acting. So, you know, it seemed like maybe I should pop into the Splintered Foot on the way home for a pint of Frantic Headbanger. Just to, you know, cool my boots and that.

So, I’ve had maybe three pints. Possibly four, no more than five, anyway. Unless you count that one I had when I walked in, so six pints. Seven pints. But that’s all, and that’s totally when it happens, man.

I time-travel.

I put my head down on the table because it’s totally full of, like, thoughts about the Oprah lady and space and time and, you know, really heavy stuff, man.

But then, when I lift my head back up again, and there’s Itchy Ken, like, totally shouting at me, going like – ‘mate, mate, come back to us man.’

Turns out it was, like, 11.30, and everyone was going home, which means that I’d travelled forward in time by, like, nearly two hours

It was, like, my own wrinkle in time.

Two be honest, the future wasn’t that great, and time travelling totally gave me a headache the next day.

Screen Idle star rating *** – good work from the Oprah lady, but you may end up totally having your own Wrinkle in time doing time-travel so, like, caveat totally emptor, man.
