The plot of Star Wars: The Last Jedi has remained a closely guarded secret. That is, it had been up until Great British Bake-off star Prue Leith revealed an in-depth summary of all the major plot points in a late night tweet.
The renowned business woman and presenter had previously revealed the winner of the Great British Bake-off before the final had been shown.
“On the one hand, I’m a bit gutted to know the plot before it’s released,” said Star Wars superfan Harrison Kenobi.
“On the other hand, it sounds awesome. I mean, Supreme Leader Snoke is Boba Fett? The finale takes place in Croydon? Luke Skywalker went to Hogwarts? I can’t wait now.
“Prue Leith has got some serious insider information.”
Ms Leith appears to have little remorse for giving away the plot. Asked for a comment, she released the following statement
‘I do what I like, I do what I like, I’m Prue Leith, I do what I like. I’m going to tweet the winner of Strictly next, then X-Factor, and then who wins the Game of Thrones and whether or not it’ll be a White Christmas.”
