Prince Harry’s first film for Netflix will be an hilarious mismatched buddy cop comedy in which he stars with Ashton Kutcher.
Righteous Instinct will see the Duke of Sussex play an intense, maverick ex-British prince who is teamed up with a wacky out-of-town country cop with a heart of gold played by Ashton Kutcher to solve a cat smuggling operation.
“Being a high-profile prince meant I spent a lot of time listening to really boring people talk about boring things,” said Prince Harry, who wore a Righteous Instinct baseball cap to promote his new film.
“Seriously, have you ever been to the Chelsea Flower Show? After a while, I just started tuning out and making up genius film ideas instead.”
Righteous Instinct is just the first of these ideas to go to production.
Others include one about an ex-prince who develops superpowers, another where an ex-prince is a cold-war era superspy for President Kennedy, and a ‘crazy’ comedy about a dead ex-prince who comes back to haunt a current prince but they end up having to work together to foil a fiendish plan to steal the Crown Jewels.
His wife, the Duchess of Sussex will also be making films as part of the Netflix deal, but the Prince was unclear on what they would be.
“I don’t know – something about ponies, I’d expect.
“But it’s Righteous Instinct first, it’s a real passion project for me, I think we’ve got a potential franchise on our hands here. I can already see Righteous Instinct 2 where they have to go to Miami and there’s all these sexy ladies in bikinis and Pitbull doing the theme tune.”
It is expected that all of Prince Harry’s ideas, including the one about a prince haunting another prince, will still be better than Spencer Confidential.

This sounds like it’s worth checking out, at least. I have a love of comedies centered around law enforcement type stories. I don’t know that I’m holding my breath for it, but I’ll give it an honest try lol
