It has been revealed that Picard season 2 is currently in he works and that it will controversially feature nudity, swearing and bloody violence.
“With the first season of Picard, we needed to make it clear that we were ready to push the boundaries, and show that this was a modern Star Trek for 2020,” explained showrunner Michael Chabon.
“So we had someone say ‘f**k.’”
Season 2 of the show seems to push those boundaries even further.
“Yeah, this is going to be a Star Trek for the Sporanos generation,” continued Chabon.
“In the opening scene of the first episode we have Sir Patrick Stewart’s first full-frontal nude scene, as he gets out of bed with his ‘number one’ on display for everyone to see.”
It is thought that this will be the sexiest Star Trek yet
“Oh yes, everyone gets naked. This is a grown-up, modern show for modern grown-ups, so there is a lot of space-nudity. The scene in which Worf is introduced in a Klingon nudist colony is going to blow your mind.”
Not just nudity, the new season will feature swearing and violence as yet unseen in the Star Trek universe.
“Lot’s of swearing. Lot’s of the f-word, b-word, s-h-1-t, and in the third episode, Picard calls someone the c-word. It’s totally mature.
“The violence we did think a lot about. But the fact is that this has to be a realistic show, and there’s no getting around the fact that if you’re dealing with lots of weird aliens, you’re going to have some brutal violence.
“Take Elnor. He’s an accomplished hand-to-hand combat expert, and so, if you think about it, it’s actually less realistic to not show him dismember and eviscerate his enemies, and it’s important for us to be realistic.”
If the more controversial scenes in Picard season 2 prove as successful as those in the first season, then season 3 is expected to just feature the whole cast naked and writhing in blood as they chant the c-word for the entire season.
Well it seems the writers have demeaned our imagination and saw fit to graphic displays of nudity, violence etc. Everyone loves confrontation, romance and a good fight but I don’t believe this would be helpful to introduce Star Trek to younger generations. One man’s opinion who was there from the beginning!!!
It would appear that it makes you mature and oh so sophisticated to get a thrill seeing graphic depictions of people suffering. I’m so angry. I hope this is not true.
That is not th Star Trek universe I remember if you recall curl made a comment that they re beyond using such descriptive metaphors
This is the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard. There is no reason to take Star Trek, a TV show that kids and family can watch, and then turn it into pornography, or to sit here and add a bunch of unnecessary swear words. Captain Picard was classy and cared about morality and justice and honor. Why do people have to take characters and turn them into this? It does not add to the show at all. Star Trek is a beloved TV show and has been around for decades with a huge following without having to do any of these things. I cannot stand Hollywood. Nobody there has any moral fiber and they don’t care about families or people who watch star trek for the stories, and not to satisfy their prurient desires.
This better not be true! It would be a complete disgrace to the character of Picard! It’s not modern! it’s human depravity! Star Trek is supposed to show us the best of humanity! What we strive to be. Have some freaking morals. This country is becoming a disgusting cesspool of unethical, immoral people. Does anyone not care about what is right and wrong anymore?!

I hope you are right David. I got very upset thinking I would not be able to watch Picard. I just can’t watch graphic violence and do not think it adds to a good storyline.
This isn’t real. It’s satire, a put on. There’s no way Paramount would really allow the writers to take Star Trek in this kind of direction.
