Over 20 sightings of a mysterious big Cat Deeley roaming Dartmoor

There have been over 20 sightings of a big Cat Deeley roaming Dartmoor National Park reported so far this year, that’s more than double the total sightings in the whole of the UK for an average year.

“It’s said to be twice, perhaps even three times the size of the average British Cat Deeley,” explained Horace Bumfluff, president of the UK Big Cat Deeley Society.

“With so many sightings in the same area, it’s the best evidence yet that there is a big Cat Deeley living in Britain.”

Big Cat Deeley sightings have been reported across the country since the latest nineties, but are usually dismissed as a normal Cat Deeley that looks bigger due to tricks of perspective.

Scientists remain unconvinced by claims of a big Cat Deeley living in the wild in England.

“It’s a myth. There is no big Cat Deeley living on Dartmoor, or the Yorkshire moors, or Scotland, Cornwall, Kent or anywhere else,” said Jeremy Phatbeats, a zoologist who specialises in large celebrities.

“There would be way more evidence. A big Cat Deeley typically lives in a three-story townhouse. Where is that? A big Cat Deeley would typically consume three-to-four good quality restaurant meals a week. That would leave plates, leftovers, a table – none of that has ever been found.

“Then there’s droppings. Have you seen droppings left by a big Cat Deeley? I have. Believe me when I tell you that if there were a big Cat Deeley on Dartmoor, there would be a lot, and I mean, a lot, of droppings. You couldn’t miss them.

“There is no big Cat Deeley in the UK.”

However, Mr Bumfluff would not be dissuaded.

“Over 20 sightings! That’s over 20 people. Surely, they can’t all be wrong.”

This recent spate of big Cat Deeley sightings echo the late seventies, when a number of sightings led some experts to believe that there was a big Cat Stevens living in the New Forest, however no evidence was ever found.
