Newly discovered Citizen Kane post-credit scene hints at shared universe with Casablanca and Bambi

A Citizen Kane post-credit scene has been discovered that hints at a potential shared universe with Casablanca and Bambi.

Professor Kelly Grace is a film academic who discovered the scene by waiting until all the credits had been displayed.

“Well, I’d watched Citizen Kane, as I do most weeks because I’m very intelligent,” she explained.

“At the end, I was making notes on the major themes of the film, and I must have got carried away because all the on-screen credits ended and then, all of a sudden, another scene started playing.

“I can only assume that no one had ever waited until the end of the credits before which, I suppose, makes me the best film academic ever.”

The scene continues on from the final scene of the film with the sled burning in the furnace. But then a gloved hand reaches into the fire and pulls it out. The hand belongs to none other than Casablanca’s Captain Louis Renault, as played by Claude Rains. He says “I do not think the fire is the place for such a powerful artifact as this, do you Bambi?” The camera then cuts to a shot of Bambi, who falls over adorably.

“It seems clear to me that they were planning a shared universe with these other films. With possibly a crossover event in which Captain Louis and Bambi have to use the sled to save the world from aliens or zombies or even alien zombies,” continued Professor Grace.

“At the moment, there is no clue as to how the sled would be used in such an event, but if it is powerful enough to save the planet, then that would certainly explain why it so dominated the thoughts of Charles Kane.”

At the moment, the scene seems to raise more questions than it answers, but Professor Grace has plans to investigate the matter further.

“I’m going to watch Casablanca and Bambi past their credits. I can only assume no one’s done that before.”
