New Uncharted game ‘most difficult yet’ as players tasked with creating Uncharted film

A new entry in the popular PlayStation Uncharted series of games has been announced and will set the player the seemingly impossible task of creating a movie based on the film series.

A film based on the Uncharted games has been in development since 1467 and over six thousand directors have so far been attached to the project without any progress being made, which would mean the new game could prove to be the most difficult entry in the franchise yet.

“You know, players have done some epic stuff in the Uncharted games – discovered El Dorado, fought ghostly pirates, coldly murdered thousands of henchmen – so for a fifth entry in the series, we really needed to up the stakes,” explained director Neil Druckmann.

“What could be a tougher task for the player than going to the most dangerous places in the world and taking on all matter of terrifying supernatural threat? The only answer to that question seemed to be trying to make an Uncharted film.”

Players will need to cast the film without mentioning Mark Wahlberg, develop a plot that isn’t based on an Indiana Jones film, and then make a film based on a game that doesn’t turn up in the depths of Amazon Prime within a month.

If the game proves successful, then a further new entry in the series could see players tasked with creating an Uncharted game that isn’t just a really pretty update of Super Mario with better guns.
