The soundtrack to Quentin Tarantino’s new film Once Upon a Time in Hollywood has been announced and, from the track listing, it appears to be The Commodores’ Brick House and an hour of dialogue snippets lifted from the film.
Although unconfirmed, it is thought that the dialogue will consist largely of people saying the n-word.
The announcement has been greeted with excitement by the sort of middle-aged men who haven’t really moved on from the nineties and believe this sort of thing is still cool.
“Oh man, this is so cool,” exclaimed Stewart James, a pubic upholstery equipment salesman from Essex.
“An old seventies song and a load of people saying the n-word? That is all you’re going to hear coming out of my Audi this summer.”
The soundtrack has also provided some clues as what fans can expect from the new movie.
“Sounds like it’ll be mainly about people saying the n-word while an old seventies song plays in the background,” tweeted one film fan.
“I’d never have guessed.”
It is thought that an expanded version of the soundtrack will be available for Christmas that will just feature loads more people saying the n-word.
