The monthly free game given away as part of the PS Plus subscription has been revealed to be the game that you recently bought in the sale.
There will also be a cheap looking ‘retro’ styled RPG that you will put in your library but probably won’t bother downloading.
The best you can hope for is a brief moment at happiness at the thought that if you hadn’t just bought that game in the sale a week ago then that would be really cool to download it for free.
You will then probably have a few minutes of pretending to be interested in the cheap looking ‘retro’ styled RPG before going back to Assassin’s Creed.
It is widely thought that you will definitely not buy anything in the sale this month so that you can take full advantage of the free PS Plus game next month but will then crack and get that big game from last Christmas because it’s 80% off.
It is expected to be announced as next month’s free game shortly after you do so.
You will then take solace in the fact that at least your subscription gives you the opportunity to play competitively with like-minded gamers from across the world before going online with FIFA and getting beaten 16-0 by a homophobic 12-year-old from the next town over.
