New Anthony Hopkins film to feature Anthony Hopkins shouting

A new upcoming Anthony Hopkins film will feature Anthony Hopkins shouting, representatives for the actor have confirmed.

“There was some concern, I know, that Anthony Hopkins wouldn’t be shouting in this new picture,” said Hopkins’ agent Stewart James.

“So, I wanted to put everyone’s minds at rest – the new Anthony Hopkins film will definitely feature Anthony Hopkins shouting, and in some instances, will feature him shouting really quite loudly.

Fans were excited.

“I’m excited,” said Kelly Grace, a fan.

“I mean, Anthony Hopkins is definitely one of the best actors alive today when it comes to playing characters who shout, so now that we know he’ll be shouting in this new film, I’ll definitely be going to see it.”

In a Wogan interview from 2007, Hopkins addressed the fact that he quite often shouts in his films.

“Well, I wouldn’t say that it’s accurate to suggest I am an actor who is defined by my shouting, what I would concede is that I quite often end up playing characters who, as part of who they are, do shout perhaps more than most.

“I would be perfectly happy to play a character who doesn’t shout – a bomb defuser or a cat burglar, for example, but when those roles do come up, they tend to come up at the same time as characters who do shout, like a vampire hunter or serial killer, and I would always be more drawn towards a vampire hunter who shouts, than, say, a bomb defuser who doesn’t.”

The agent also took the time to confirm that Anthony Hopkins’ following film would also feature Anthony Hopkins shouting, and possibly also the one after that as well.
