In an intriguing development it has been revealed that there is a film adaptation of one of Southern Rail’s excuses for delays and disruption currently in development.
It is unclear which of the many excuses are being adapted, but it is expected the film will be marketed as hardcore fantasy.
“Yes, I can confirm that we are making a film adaptation of a Southern Rail delay excuse,” said producer Stephen Lucas.
“It will be a fantasy epic that you will not be able to believe.”
It is expected that the film will be the recipient of a vast budget as that will be the only way to get such a staggering work of imagination as a Southern Rail excuse onto the big screen.
“It will certainly be a challenge,” continued Mr Lucas.
“I mean there is stuff in this excuse that has no bearing on reality whatsoever. Obviously, no one would ever believe this, but as a work of cinematic fiction it should be a blast.”
If successful, it is expected that the film will be followed up by an adaptation of a Southern Rail apology and will be a hilarious comedy.
