Love Island companion show Love Island: Aftersun has proved so popular that it is to get its own companion show.
Love Island: Aftersun: Nightcap will go out at 10pm on Monday evenings on ITV9 and will feature gossip from Love Island: Aftersun, exclusive interviews with Aftersun presenter Caroline Flack and input from celebrity Love Island: Aftersun fans.
It will be presented by an over-excited camp man with tremendous hair and a regional accent.
“I think that, with Aftersun, it’s not just about watching it, but it’s about talking about it with your mates and having a laugh and everything and that’s what Love Island: Aftersun: Nightcap is all about,” explained the camp man, over-excitedly.
It is expected that, should Love Island: Aftersun: Nightcap take off, a new companion show to the companion show’s companion show will be introduced on Tuesday evenings presented by a slightly different over-excitable camp man with tremendous hair and a regional accent.
This can only lead to the terrifying notion that we are on the brink of a bleak dystopia in which all TV channels are given over to the companion shows of other companion shows of other companion shows for Love Island and that every man woman and child in the country will be forced to work on or appear in the companion shows in order to maintain the delicate balance of society.
It is what it is.
