Human being discovered who still wants a 3D television

The world was rocked earlier by the news that a human being still exists who actually thinks owning a 3D television is worthwhile.

Jeremy Grant, a nit farmer from Chelmsford in Essex, was heard in his local branch of Currys asking if a particular model of televisions came with ‘that 3D.’

“It was really weird,” said Jenny Lawrence, who was working at the time.

“The whole shop went quiet. You could hear a man cough to conceal a giggle and this little girl was asking ‘Why does that man want 3D? Is he mental?’ before being shushed by her dad.”

After collecting themselves, the diligent shop staff did their best to answer the bizarre request.

“Well, I mean no one had any idea if the TV was 3D? Does any TV do 3D anymore? I thought that everyone realised it was a busted flush a few years ago? We spent ages on the internet trying to figure out if it did 3D or not.”

Eventually they managed to find the answer.

“It did,” reported a shocked Ms Lawrence.

“I mean, can you imagine? In 2019, they’re still making TVs that are 3D? I wonder why?”

Ultimately, it is understood that Mr Grant elected not to purchase the TV and was last seen heading off to try and find an Oculus Rift, a Google Glass, and a tamagotchi.
