Henry Cavill’s Mission Impossible moustache has proved so popular that it has been given its own late-night talk show.
The show will be a light-hearted mixture of celebrity chat, comedy, and grooming tips.
“Yeah, Mission Impossible was terrific, we all loved it,” said studio executive Tom Pegg.
“But you’d have to be crazy to not realise that the breakout star of the piece was Henry Cavill’s moustache.
“As soon as I saw it, I knew that it had a hell of a career in the industry, and the best way to harness that talent and charisma would be with a late-night talk show.”
There were practical problems with the plan though.
“Well sure, we had to deal with Henry for a start. I mean, he’s a hell of a guy and a great Superman but the moustache was carrying him, we didn’t need him.”
Producers used the latest male grooming technology to painlessly separate the moustache from the actor and it will be attached to someone different each week.
“let me tell you, everyone wanted that gig. I mean, that’s just how hot Henry Cavill’s moustache is right now.
“First week we’ve got Jen Aniston, then the next week the kids from Stranger Things.
“But it’s Henry Cavill’s Mission Impossible moustache’s show though, no matter who the moustache-host is.”
Henry Cavill’s Mission Impossible moustache is also planning to capitalise on its current popularity by releasing an album of soul classics and is considering running for office in 2020.
