Film about dog becoming President ‘inevitable,’ fear experts

Experts are predicting that a film in which a dog becomes President is ‘inevitable,’ and there is only a matter of time before it is unleashed on the public.

The consensus is that the film would be a wacky comedy, but the most dire predictions suggest it could well be a ‘satire on politics in 2018’ and star and man with a beard who mumbles alongside a kooky girl.

“It’s inevitable. I don’t see any other outcome,” said Helen White, a professor of both films and dogs at Oxford University.

“The signs are clear – dogs are ubiquitous, people have never been less discerning, and it appears that literally anything can become President.

“In fact, I wouldn’t be surprised if, right now, in a bar somewhere in California, a writer is staring across at his reflection in the mirror and silently mouthing – ‘what if a dog became president.’

Professor White had some advice on how to handle the situation when it becomes apparent that there is a film about a dog who becomes President at the cinema.

“Well, quite simply, barricade your doors and nail wonky bits of wood across the windows because you want no part of a society that allows something like this to happen.”

Professor White is confident that the situation will pass, but describes a terrifying worse-case scenario.

“Well, if people actually watch this then it’s likely there would be a sequel in which President Dog has to run for a second term.

“At that point, I think its fair to declare it the end of civilisation.”
