Evidence Colin Farrell has had memories implanted of starring in Total Recall remake

There is evidence that Colin Farrell has had his brain tampered with and has had false memories of starring in a Total Recall remake implanted.

The shocking discovery came to light when the Miami Vice star started taking a hypnotherapy course to combat his lifelong fear of elevators.

As part of the treatment, the therapist began positing the theory of a huge elevator running through the centre of the earth. Farrell immediately became agitated and saying that he remembered a giant elevator through the centre of the earth, he’d been in a film about it.

The therapist assured him that a giant elevator through the centre of the earth was too stupid a concept to find its way into a major motion picture, but Farrell insisted and recalled it was a vital plot point of a Total Recall remake he’d starred in in 2012.

Gently, the therapist informed Farrell that he had no recollection of such a film.

Farrell then asked around friends and family who all told him that they had no recollection of a Total Recall remake ever being made, either.

The only explanation was that Farrell had fake memories of making the film inserted into his brain.

Unnervingly, after further investigation, it has come to light that a handful of the general public seem to have had memories of a Total Recall remake implanted in their brains as well.

The motives for implanting the false memories in people’s brains are unclear, but it could well be that it was done by a group of rogue filmmakers desperate to bring the idea of a Total Recall remake into the public consciousness and perhaps even make it so intriguing that a studio will greenlight the creation of an actual Total Recall remake.

However, if that was their scheme, it has now been uncovered and the public can be assured that a Total Recall remake will never happen.
