Every non-franchised movie to be remade as ‘Cloverfield’ movie

After the successful transition of non-monster movie scripts ‘The Cellar’ and ‘God Particle’ into monster movies ‘10 Cloverfield Lane’ and ‘The Cloverfield Paradox’, every single non-franchised script will now have monsters added and be set in the increasingly terrifying Cloverfield universe.

Series Executive Producer JJ Abrams said, “This is awesome news! Especially from my production company’s finances point-of-view! Now for any script, however fantastic it was standalone, now we can add monsters and scariness so it’s twice as fantastic, if not more!

“We should’ve done this years ago! Think how much better some old films would’ve been: ‘Cloverfield Fight Club’: all the aceness of Fight Club, but with monsters! ‘Being John Malkovich in Cloverfield’: mind-bending brain-travelling awesomeness and then dealing with monsters who all look like John Malkovich through the eyes of John Malkovich! ‘Cloverfield Pitch Black’: a brilliant monster movie, with more monsters! Totally. Blows. My. MIND!

“We’re already working on loads of them all at once.  First up is ‘The Cloverfield Redemption’ about two imprisoned men who bond over a number of years, finding solace and eventual redemption through acts of common decency. Then get squished by a big bug going ‘RAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!’.

“Then, we also release our first kid’s movie: ‘Peter Rabbit in Cloverfield’, which is a really funny, romping, old fashioned, family-friendly movie. Until Peter, Lily and Benjamin get torn apart by a big monster.

“And next month, we’re releasing the first of our remakes of eventually every film ever made. ‘It’s A Cloverfield Wonderful Life’ will be a morality tale about how good life really is, but obviously we put a load of monsters in it to spice it up.

“This is a good time for monster movies and don’t you forget it!”

‘Cloverfield of Dreams’ is due for released May Day weekend 2019.
