Confusion as middle-aged actor found who, it seemed, was not in Band of Brothers

There was alarm and confusion in the film world when a middle-aged actor appeared to have been discovered who hadn’t taken a role in Band of Brothers.

“It was bizarre,” explained Stewart James, who first noticed the strange anomaly.

“I was watching that Preacher, you know? On Amazon Prime? And there was Dominic Cooper. I thought, you know, he was in his 40s, I wonder what he looked like when Band of Brothers.

“I mean, it’s just what you do isn’t it? You see Stephen Graham; you think what did he look like in Band of Brothers. You see Adama in Battlestar Galactica; what did he look like when he was in Band of Brothers.”

However, when Mr James tried to find out what Dominic Cooper looked like in Band of Brothers, he made a shocking discovery.

“He wasn’t in it. I checked his age again, 40-add, so he’d have been in his twenties in 2001. He can act. But, according to the internet, he wasn’t in it. First time I’ve ever heard of a middle-aged actor not having been in Band of Brothers.”

Happily, the mystery was solved when IMDB admitted that there was an error on its site.

“Apologies. Dominic Cooper is a middle-aged actor. Of course he was in Band of Brothers,” said an IMDB representative.

“The site has now been corrected and Dominic Cooper, along with every single other middle-aged actor working today, appears in the cast list for Band of Brothers.”
