Computer Game Simulator has been announced and developers are promising the most detailed simulation yet of playing a computer game.
“This is a real leap forward,” said producer Stewart James.
“Playing Computer Game Simulator is going to feel like you are actually sat at a desk somewhere and playing an actual computer game.
“I’ve tried it, it’s amazing.”
The simulation genre has long been a popular one amongst hardcore gamers, with lorry-driving simulators, milliner simulators, and even a George Alagiah simulator all proving popular in recent years.
The computer game simulator, however, has always proved problematic as the simulation has never quite had the fidelity to really convince the gamer that they are playing an actual game, and so they have preferred to play an actual game instead.
“This is different,” claimed Mr James.
“The in-game keyboard and mouse feel identical to using a real keyboard and mouse, the action of clicking on an icon to run the game is utterly convincing, and once the in-game game is running, I defy anyone to be able to tell the difference between that and an actual real-life game.”
Computer Game Simulator will go on sale this week, and the studio is so confident of its success that it has already begun work on its sequel.
Computer Game Simulator Simulator will be an accurate simulation of playing Computer Game Simulator and should be ready next year.
