‘Complete reinvention’ could see James Bond return as a vampire, or a horse

A year after the character of James Bond seemingly returned to his home world, Barbara Broccoli, the James Bond producer, has spoken of a complete reinvention of James Bond before the next film which means that Bond could return as a vampire or a horse.

MI6 could be reimagined as a shadowy organisation of justice-dealing vampires set in the sewers under London. James Bond is their top vampire agent. When the middle-eastern vampire bureau is destroyed, vampire bond is sent to investigate. En route, he seduces a beautiful heiress and makes her his familiar and together they travel across the world feeding on the innocent and following clues that lead ultimately to a rogue organisation of vampires who have illegally created an army of Frankensteins to wage war against Bond and MI6. Bond dresses up as a Frankenstein to infiltrate the organisation’s base and blow it up in a series of spectacular explosions.

Alternatively, James Bond could be a plucky dressage horse who discovers his rival horse murdered on the evening of a competition. MI6, a horse intelligence agency, recruits Bond as an agent, and for his first mission he begins his investigation of the world of dressage. After seducing a beautiful mare who works for an Eastern European horse called Ivan, Bond discovers that Ivan is the leader of a secret horse organisation who intend to use dressage competitions as a cover for international drug-dealing and assassins-for-hire. Bond uses an Eastern European accent to infiltrate Ivan’s organisation and blow up their base in a series of spectacular explosions.

The ‘complete reinvention’ could also see Bond return as an alien superhero, or a medieval knight, or an old tree, or a premiership footballer.

Alternatively, the ‘complete reinvention’ could just see Bond return as a slightly different middle-aged man who gets off with a sexy lady before shooting everyone with guns.
