Black and White shot-for-shot remake of Gus Van Sant’s classic Psycho discovered

The film world is set to be turned upside down after it was revealed that a strange shot-for-shot remake of the 1998 Gus Van Sant classic Psycho has been discovered.

The film is near identical to the Van Sant version, except with different actors taking up the parts of Marion and Norman and the other characters.

“I find it baffling that someone would do this,” said Janet Perkins, who discovered the cinematic curio playing late on BBC2.

“I mean, it was literally the same in every way except without colour. I don’t get it. I mean, it’s not as if the original was that great. I mean, it was alright, but I remember that when it came out in the nineties, it felt a bit derivative.”

Mrs Perkins has no explanation as to how the version came to be on BBC2

“No, I don’t know. I mean, they were both called Psycho, so I suppose they put on this weird remake instead of the original. Really weird though.”

Strangely, it is not the first time Mrs Perkins has made such a discovery.

“No, I went to watch Ladykillers once, you know that funny Tom Hanks one? But when I put it on it was some strange remake with a bloke who was the spitting image of Ben Kenobi.”

“Although, not the original Ben Kenobi played by Ewen McGregor, but the one played by the old man in the follow-up to Star Wars, that A New Hope that came after Revenge of the Sith.”

“Weird, innit?”
