A big screen adaptation of that YouTube video where the dog chased the deer is due out next year.

The film will be called Fenton, Fenton, Jesus Christ, Fenton and will be a profound treatise on the nature of freedom and control. Or something.

“We’re super excited to announce Fenton, Fenton, Jesus Christ, Fenton is currently in pre-production and will be ready for Summer next year,” said director Martin Paluka.

“We think it’s going to be a real hit with fans of five-year-old memes and dogs chasing stuff.”

Surprisingly, Mr Paluka was happy to share plot details.

“Plot? Well, it’s going to be a dog chasing some deer through the park while his owner chases after him and shouts.

“I mean, some plots are so perfect that you don’t want to mess with them.

The film will feature cutting edge special effects.

“Oh yeah, I mean we’ve got the technology now to completely digitally recreate exactly how Richmond Park looked in that YouTube video.

“It’s incredible. You won’t be able to tell the difference.”

Fenton, Fenton, Jesus Christ, Fenton is due this summer and will feature Tom Hardy as Fenton and Meryl Streep as his exasperated owner.
