Following a bite from a confused werewolf, a wolf has turned into a man every evening during the recent full moon.
Whilst a man, the wolf experienced a variety of typical man-like activities such as eating ready-meals, watching TV, and gaining a basic understanding of Microsoft Powerpoint.
“Well, it was certainly a shock,” said the wolf.
“The moon rose in the sky and, as it did so, I felt this ferocious pain throughout my body, like my blood was on fire. Then my snout folded into my face and my fur receded into my skin, leaving me pretty chilly, if I’m honest.
“My spine changed shape and I found myself standing up on my hind legs. The whole thing was pretty painful but, as a man, I was able to pop into a pharmacist and pick up some Aspirin. So that took the edge off.”
The wolf went on to describe how he changed as he spent time as a man.
“Yes, I felt this civilised nature completely overwhelm my body and became compelled to sit quietly and watch the TV. I found a film called Three Men and a Baby. Very amusing.”
Following the full moon, the wolf has returned to his natural wolf-like state.
“Can’t say I’m sorry. Being human was fine, but I’m not sure I could ever get used to wearing a tie. Much prefer running with a pack and howling which, as I understand it, is frowned upon as a human, unless you’re Welsh of course.”
The confused werewolf was apologetic and embarrassed.
“Good Lord, was my face red,” he chuckled.
“I’d just woken up, I was a little groggy, I needed to savage something. I saw movement and attacked. It was only after the whole blood-lust had faded that I realised that I’d had a pop at a wolf. I really am terribly sorry.”
The incident, whilst unusual, is not unheard of. Only recently there was the case of a confused vampire who sucked the blood of a bat and ended up going to bed really hungry.
