Toy company Hasbro has admitted that 2021’s controversial line of Vibrator Transformers was a mistake.

“We misjudged the market,” said a contrite Stewart James, COO of Hasbro’s Toy Division.

“The Vibrator Transformers were a mistake and we apologise for any offense caused.”

The controversial line of toys was released in time for last year’s holiday season and was hailed as a revolution in child and adult toys.

“During the day, little Timmy gets to defend the world from the evil Decepticons with these cool robots,” read the product description.

“Then, during the evening, Mom can transform it into a stimulating, stress-relieving massage wand.”

There were also clear instructions to wash the product thoroughly after passing it between parent and child.

“I think we were hoping that we’d produced an innovative way in which Mom and kids could enjoy the same Transformer, but we can understand now that perhaps many people were uncomfortable with what we had in mind,” continued Mr James.

“We’ve discontinued the line and are offering a full refund for any toys that have not been used…intimately.”

A Special tie-in film – Transformers: Transform into Pleasure – has had production put on hold and is expected to be abandoned.
