‘The Terminator with his bits out ‘- Weekend Film Guide 4th February

It’s the weekend! Time to drink cheap cider until the pain stops and watch these great films.

Friday

Die Hard 2: Die Harder ITV 21.00

Bruce Willis beats up an airport to celebrate Christmas. Features the Terminator with his bits out doing Tai Chi.

Das Boot GREAT! Movies 21.00

Epic German masterpiece about a boot.

Finding Neverland GREAT! Movies* 18.55

Apparently, it was down the back of the sofa.

Saturday

The Craft 5* 23.20

Teenage girls form spooky group to weave baskets and crochet things.

Last of the Mohicans Paramount 21.00

Apparently, Daniel Day-Lewis was so dedicated to the role of Hawkeye that, in order to prepare, he travelled back in time to the 1700s and lived with the Mohican tribe for a year, and can actually be seen in some pictures from the period.

Buster GREAT! Movies 23.15

Drummer from Genesis robs a train. I assume the soundtrack features some perky covers of sixties classics and a moody ballad where Buster walks about in the rain and has a jolly good think about what he’s done.

Sunday

The Revenant ITV4 23.10

Leo wins an Oscar for getting beaten up by a bear. Fair.

The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel Channel 5 15.20

They say ‘Best,’ they’ve clearly never stayed at the Travelodge overlooking the flyover in Chelmsford.

Is this the most Sunday afternoon film ever?
