The was exciting news for Star Wars fans as the design of the cinema tickets that will be used to permit entry to the new film were today revealed.
The tickets will have the name and location of the cinema in which the screening takes place printed along the top, they will also have the timing of the screening and, most excitingly of all, across the centre of the ticket will be the words ‘Star Wars Episode VIII: The Last Jedi.’
“Oh man, these tickets are awesome,” said middle-aged chartered accountant and Star Wars fan Darth Boba Smith.
“I mean, all Star Wars cinema tickets are awesome because they’ve got Star Wars written on them, which is awesome. But these are even more awesome because they’ve got The Last Jedi written on them, which is awesome.”
“I’m going to buy, like, twenty of them, at least.”
Fans have been studying the ticket design for any hint of plot from the new film and there are a handful of theories already doing the rounds.
“Yeah, I’ve seen some,” continued Darth Smith.
“You know, because of the font, it must mean that Luke is Fin’s father, or Han Solo isn’t dead because the colon is slightly raised. I’m just going to wait until the film comes out because whatever happens, it’ll be awesome.”
It is expected that the current feverish excitement will be exceeded next week when the design for the new ‘The Last Jedi’ popcorn boxes will be released on Monday.
