Popular director Stephen Spielberg was revealed as the world’s most powerful wizard according to the new witches, wizards and warlocks listing released recently.
In second place was Kate Bush, and in third place David Blaine who, since Paul Daniels’ passing, becomes the world’s most powerful professional wizard.
“I find it very peculiar that people don’t realise Stephen Spielberg is a wizard,” said magic expert Daniel Watson
“I mean, have you seen Close Encounters of the Third Kind? How else are you going to put such a convincing alien spaceship onscreen in the late seventies without the aid of very powerful magic?”
It is a return to the top for Mr Spielberg, who was the world’s most powerful wizard in 1993 after bringing dinosaurs back to life, and again in 2002, after getting a good performance out of Tom Cruise.
He replaces Kate Bush at the top of the list who made a stunning return to the top in 2015 after using magic to produce a convincing shipwreck onstage at the Hammersmith Odeon.
Mr Spielberg is also currently favourite to retain his title of Top wizard as he plans to make a convincing action hero from 75-year old Harrison Ford in next year’s Indiana Jones and the Quest to get Those Rowdy Kids to Turn that Music Down.
