Netflix have announced The Crown Nights has gone into production – a new sexy, late night version of The Crown that will feature regular characters getting up to all sorts of sexy antics that are too explicit for the normal version.
Producers promise sex, nudity, drugs, murder, rock music, bloody violence, swearing, and explicit corgi cruelty.
“The Crown is great for kids and for people who can remember what shillings are for,” said producer Stewart James.
“But for a younger audience who’ve grown up on Love Island, The Sopranos and internet pornography, The Crown is far too tame. The Crown Nights will seek to redress this.”
Mr James went on to describe the premise for the series.
“Okay, so we’re in the eighties, right?
“We open with Olivia Coleman’s Queen completely naked. She’s having an affair with the bassist from Duran Duran who is serenading her with an acoustic bass version of Wild Boys. A servant walks in and tells her that her plan to have Margaret Thatcher killed has failed. Furious, she throws a handful of cocaine at the servant.
“Meanwhile, there’s Prince Phillip, completely naked, who’s having a foursome with Bananarama, who are also completely naked. The Queen bursts in and tells him the news.
“Together, with Princess Margaret, who is so sexy she’s having a naked affair with herself, they set in motion a plan to have Prince Charles seduce the Prime Minister and then poison her. But the problems begin when Prince Charles and Margaret Thatcher fall passionately in love.”
The Crown Nights will launch next year and is partially based on real events.
