The Crown Final Season Sees Family Return to Home Planet

The final season of popular drama The Crown has been released onto Netflix.

The season will focus on the Windsor family’s final years on Earth before boarding the royal flying saucer and returning to their home planet.

“The story of the Royals returning to their home planet is a complicated one,” explained producer Stewart James.

“On the one hand, they had been sent to Earth to infiltrate society at the highest level and keep the people of Britain in a state of quiet deference. On the other hand, after spending so long on Earth, the family had developed a genuine affection for human beings.

“Prince Edward even identified as a human, and strongly advocating remaining on Earth.”

The season will depict the years of surrounding the death of Princess Diana, and the alarming drop in popularity of the Royals that finally culminated the dramatic season of a huge mob surrounding Buckingham Palace. The final episode will dramatise the moments the family is forced to flee to their secret bunker under St James Park and hurriedly launch the royal flying saucer that would return them to their home planet.

Controversially, the final moments of the show will see the Royals shedding their human disguises and will depict them in their original alien form for the first time.

It is expected that the final scene will be the famous Sun Front Page that featured a picture of the flying saucer hovering above London, with a headline that simply read ‘Farewell and Godspeed, Ma’am.’
