Producer James Cameron has revealed that the title for the new Terminator sequel is Terminator: Future Robo-Bastard from Space.
Other options were, apparently, Terminator: Robo-Death Man and Terminator: Metal-Arse.
“Future Robo-Bastard from Space encapsulates the very essence of what we’re trying to do with this picture,” confirmed the legendary director.
“We’ve got the Terminator. Okay, to scientists and geeks, he’s an enhanced cyborg, but that language is just too technical for most people. Most people see the Terminator and their first thought is ‘Robo-Bastard.’
“He’s also a robo-bastard from the future, and as for space? I don’t know, we got time-travel, robot people, it makes sense that space is involved somehow, doesn’t it? So, yeah Future Robo-Bastard from Space.
“It just works.”
The Titanic director refused to be drawn on aspects of the plot but did give a brief overview of what fans can expect.
“I don’t know, a robot from the future comes back and shoots a load of guys, another robot from the future comes back and shoots some other guys then everyone goes to Mexico.
“Something like that, usually is.”
Terminator: Future Robo-Bastard from Space is due out this year, and from the title alone, it looks like it will be better than that last one where Daenerys from Game of Thrones pretended the Terminator was her dad or something.
This has to be a joke! Or he has lost his mind
