Rookie cop who realised this could go all the way to the top probably going to be fine

A young rookie cop who has just realised that this could go all the way to the top should probably be fine.

The cop, patrolwoman Carrie Hunter, discovered that this could go all the way to the top after working late because something on the case was bugging her, despite repeated warnings to ‘let it go’ from her overweight, drunk, divorced, racist, sleepy, sneezy partner and cop of over seventy years’ experience Hank ‘Hank’ Hankson.

She made the discovery alone, and late at night in the precinct house.

At the moment she made the discovery, she heard a noise that sounded very much like the cocking of a gun.

Happily, it wasn’t, and she realised it was just her imagination.

She them immediately called both her partner and the chief who came to the precinct house and, after reviewing the evidence, agreed that it went all the way to the top, congratulated patrolwoman Hunter on a job well done and then they all went home to bed.

Patrolwoman Hunter will probably be fine and will possibly even receive some sort of commendation for her work.
