Review – American Made

Tom Cruise returns in American made. I love Tom Cruise.

I was walking to the cinema and I was trying to remember all the Tom Cruise films I’d seen. There’s Risky Business. There’s Top Gun. Knight and Day, of course – classic. Mission Impossible 3.

I mean, that’s just four, but he’s done loads more than that. I mean, at least, what? 12? That’s loads isn’t it?

But then I thought, is it really? It’s not really is it, because, if you think about it, right? Fast and Furious has done eight films which is only 4 or 5 less than 12, and that’s just cars. So, you’d have thought that Tom Cruise would have done more films than cars. Which he has, but not many.

But then I thought, No, Tom Cruise is still better than cars because he can talk and cars can’t talk, unless they’re in Cars, in which case they can.

That’s the film Cars. Not just cars in cars. If you just put a car in another car, it wouldn’t be able to talk. But even if it could, I reckon Tom Cruise would be better because he did that stunt where he hung on to the side of a plane as it took off in Mission Impossible 3.

Was it Mission Impossible 3? Or was it the other one? Born on the Fourth of July.

Oh yeah, Born on the Fourth of July, that’s another Tom Cruise film, isn’t it. That’s 13. That settles it. Tom Cruise is definitely better than some cars.
