Activision have announced that the new Call Of Duty game will allow players to control an actual live soldier.
In an exciting development, soldiers in warzones across the world will wear special headsets that will be wired into a giant supercomputer housed in the Cloud.
When the game is booted up, the Playstation will link directly to the supercomputer, the player will gain control over the brain of the soldier and be able to direct he or she in a real live battle situation.
“This is a really exciting development,” said game director David Spacey
“Call Of Duty has always been about giving the player the realism of the battlefield, and what could be more realistic than a real-live battlefield”
Mr Spacey revealed that they have had the technology to implement this for several years.
“It all came down to, legally, who owned the soldiers’ brains and it seemed that, no matter what deals we actually did with Governments, the soldiers retained ownership of their own brains.”
“So, we worked out a deal where we effectively rent the soldiers’ brains temporarily, you know, while the player is playing with the brains, but the soldiers retain ownership. That seemed to work out for everyone.”
The new edition of Call Of Duty will be released in November this year and there will be a special limited edition of the game that will allow players to go to the warzone of their choice, sit on a soldier’s shoulders and shout at him to shoot all the bad guys.
