Pixar latest ‘Soul’ to feature cobbler who can’t spell

Pixar have announced a brand new film – Soul – which is most likely about a cobbler who can’t spell.

Although the animation legends have released little in the way of details, the title alone is enough to indicate what the story will be.

“Yeah – Soul, that just pretty much tells you everything you need to know,” said Neil Tollfree, who runs topical movie ‘humour’ blog Screen Idle, and appears to be what passes for an expert these days.

“I don’t think that it can be anything other than a cobbler who can’t spell,” explained Tollfree.

“I would imagine the plot would be this cobbler and he’s not getting a lot of business because he’s got a sign that says he’ll mend souls and everyone is like ‘no, my soul’s fine, mate’

“Then some toys come to life or a cute space robot rocks up and with their help he learns how to spell and changes the sign to say that he’ll mend soles and everyone is then like ‘Yeah, brilliant, my shoes are all knackered’

“Then there’s a nice song and it ends.”

However, some have suggested that the film is actually a profound examination of what makes an individual who they are, told with the customary zip and humour for which Pixar are so famous.

“Meh,” said Tollfree.

“Seems unlikely.”
