Ocean’s 11 Prequel To Tell Story Of Young Danny Ocean: A Podracer On Tatooine

Margot Robbie’s new Ocean’s 11 prequel will tell the story of Danny Ocean when he was a young podracer on the desert planet of Tatooine.

It will show Danny as a boy who is discovered by two powerful thieves who, recognising his great power to steal things, rescue him from slavery and bring him to Earth where he is free to rob casinos.

“It was always the part of Ocean’s 11 lore that fascinated me,” explained Robbie.

“How did Danny get from being the son of a slave on a planet in a galaxy far, far away, to the sophisticated thief we meet in Ocean’s 11?”

The plot of the film will see two thieves arrive on Tatooine to steal from a gambling den in Mos Espa. They come across Danny after he steals a lightsaber from some guy with a mullet. Recognising his great power to steal things, they patiently explain to his mum that she’s of no use, so they’re going to take her son with them to learn how to become the best thief in the universe.

Young Danny becomes an apprentice thief and learns how to wear a dinner suit brilliantly, and goes on to have a number of adventures with his master that, ultimately, see him in prison in North Jersey State Prison.

Should the Ocean’s 11 prequel prove successful, a second prequel is planned that will just be an absolute mess of CGI that has Danny meet Tess, Queen of Naboo, and get caught up with a bunch of clones for reasons that are pretty unclear.
