Nintendo have announced a new peripheral for their popular Switch console.
The Nintendo Switch Food Mixer is the latest in a series of increasingly deranged peripherals that includes a cardboard box and an electronic hula-hoop that’s far too small.
“The Nintendo Switch Food Mixer is a great new way for families to have fun together,” explained a Nintendo representative who may or may not have been drinking.
“You want to make a cake, you put the ingredients in a big bowl, then attach one of the food mixer attachments to the Switch.
“Then, you play the new Mario Mixer game and depending on how successful you are, the cake ingredients are either mixed to perfection or just turn out to be a horrid load of old sludge.”
The Nintendo Switch Food Mixer will feature a number of different attachments for fans to collect including
- Princess Peach’s Pasta Maker
- Bowser’s Biscuit Cutter
- Fox McCloud’s Flexi-beater
They will each cost far too much and are expected to be left in the back of the cupboard after one half-hearted attempt to use them.
Regardless of whether or not the Nintendo Switch Food Mixer is a success, Nintendo plan to press ahead with their bizarre Nintendo Switch peripheral range with a Nintendo Switch Axe available for next Spring and a rumoured Nintendo Switch Toilet ready for next year’s holiday season.
